Zyklon B is very similar to and may be referred to as Hydrogen Cyanide, Formic Anammonide, Hydrocyanic Acid, Prussic Acid, and Methanenitrile, but mostly goes by Zyklon B. It has the chemical formula HCN and is a compound. It was first known as Zyklon A but was altered after it became illegal and Zyklon B was formed. It was invented in Germany in the early 1920s and was packaged in a small canister with adsorbent granules. The granules looked like small whitish pebbles. It then turned into a poisonous gas. It has a bitter almond odor and will kill you in as little as one minute. It’s very difficult to be in direct contact with it and it not killing you. Today a very basic form of it that isn't deadly is used in the soil to help with crops. They took the nitrogen from the atmosphere and turned it into ammonia compounds to be spread over the Earth. That is called the Haber-Bosch process and it has helped to feed millions.
